Quality of Life Survey |
| Full-tim elaw program |
If you go to BC, and I would recommend it for the fine legal education
I received, you need a car. The highly-touted shuttle service the
school runs from main campus to the law campus, runs sporadically, and
is often packed with annoying freshmen from the undergrad.
There is no on-campus housing, so you will likely live in one of the
student ghettos (Brighton, Brookline, Allston), with all the attendant
problems of living in a student neighborhood -- loud parties, drunks,
the more-than-occasional fire caused by the mongoloid undergrads who
think you can barbeque indoors.
Rent can be kind of high, with the quality not quite up to snuff. Make
sure that heat and hot water are included in the rent because it can be
very expensive if you have to pay for fuel in the winter.
Boston does have a pretty good mass-transit system.
