BC Law doesn't quite cut it with employers as a free ticket. That is, it's the
#2 school in Boston, so Harvard gets first choice. You have to be at the top of
the class (Law Review) to land one of the big firm jobs or be a minority with
above a 3.2 GPA. Also, because BC Law isn't reputationally one of the big
feeders into D.A. and A.G., we don't have the connections there that Suffolk or
Northeastern does. The career services are helpful if you are on
Law Review. They cater to those that could easily find a job on their own.
When you're a 2L looking for a job and you're not on law review, don't rely on
Career Services too much, and send out resumes and cover letters on your own!
