Employment Prospects Survey
Full-time law program Granted the economy has been lousy, but many people I graduated do not have jobs. If you want to work at a big firm Baylor does great with campus recruiting. You schedule interviews for employers who come during the day and meet with them on campus. If you want to work anywhere else you are on your own. Career service will post job possibilities when an employer requests that but does no recruiting and is not very helpful. Do a summer internship!! Baylor advertises that you can complete the program in 27 months, but if you do not take a summer off to do an internship you do not get a chance to make the contacts you will need to find a job at graduation. Texas employers know how great the Baylor program is. Baylor does have some national recognition, but you have to sell yourself more.
