Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time law program |
Application process is pretty typical. They require LSAT scores. My
score was 153, this is about the median score needed to be accepted. I
also needed to fill out the application, which can now be done on-
line. I did not interview, but I have heard that it can be very
helpful to go for a tour and let them match a name to a face. It has
become very competitive to get into Baylor law but there seem to be a
few things that help. It helps to have some experience beyond
college. I had gone to grad school. Many of my classmates had
previous careers, in accounting, marketing, police work. Make sure in
your essay to include how this can help you suceed at Baylor. Baylor
is a very practical school, it prepares you to be a lawyer, not just
think like one. So, practical experience is good to show you can
succeed at Baylor.
Also, you can apply to start in September or Febuary, because there is
a quarter system. It is a bit easier to get accepted to start in
Febuary because there is less competition.
