I wrote a comprehensive essay and followed the questions asked to a "T",
as I did for Columbia U, and U of Penn. I was accepted by all of them.
My interviews for admission were nerve racking. I played on my
experience and had read the mission statements of the schools before
had. I talked about my willingness to learn, as well as seeking new
challenges. My grades were high 3.5-3.6. I had studied outside the
country for one degree. Empasized this point, as well as my world
travels. My GRE scores were high (I had done the Kaplan program
previous to taking it), which was more than worth the $1,000 I paid.
