There are usually no residence for grad students, UM is very short on
residence. However, there are a lot of outside the school sources that
charge a very reasonable price depending on where you live. If you
life in the central campus, prices are more expensive but you will have
everything around you from pubs to grocery stores. This way you can
save and not have to buy a car. The computing facilties are great and
so is the email system, there are many features you can implement.
Crime and Safety, I would have to say very good. Though we are 30 mins
from Detroit but we are not affected. There are actually a lot of
campus police roaming around in the middle of the night and always
there to give you a ticket when you run a stop sign.
