Solid process, and clearly highly competitive between those who applied
and those who were admitted. Faculty and staff made themselves very
available to answer questions. With that said, the Financial Aid
department of 2002 was an absolute disaster, failing to provide the
correct factual information regarding loans, credit status, or to
provide refund checks in a timely fashion. In fall 2003 the situation
had improved, but still possessed its own quirks. In my opinion, this
should be one of the smoothest operations of any university, and the
obvious bungles on the part of the department were very unsettling for
someone like myself returning to higher education after 10 years in the
workforce.
