The bay area is an amazing place to live, one of the best. Students
with limited funding could struggle with quality of life, housing is
quite expensive as is dining. The area just outside campus can be a bit
dodgy in the evening; otherwise, berkeley is fairly safe. the community
is aware and concerned.
