If you're a foreign affairs freak, then it's simply wonderful. The
diversity of ethnicities and experiences is unparallel to any situation
in the world, except perhaps the UN. The bar scene is ok, with local
watering holes in and around Davis Square. Then there??s always
Cambridge or Boston. Local Fletcher bands crop up and play. But if
you could entertain yourself in Djibouti, then Medford is hardly a
problem. Dating is a bit difficult because it is such a fishbowl; but
if it's going to happen, it's going to happen. Just being there at
Fletcher is usually enough.
