| Full-time Masters of Science in Organizational and Social Psychology |
The program I participated in (Organizational and Social Psychology - OSP) was a
great way to get into my career choice: Organizational Development. While an MBA
will pave the way for a number of positions, the OSP helped me be more
specialized. I felt MBAs were a-dime-a-dozen. LSE has a career placement
office that has a number of contacts in the Western European market, especially
London. In addition, LSE has high prestige in the US. While there were some
contacts in the US, the majority were in Europe. There were a number of big-name
companies that attended campus recruiting "fairs" - McKinsey, Booz Allen, etc.
And, finally, if you work closely with a well-connected professor on your
research project, you could well be "interning" for a full-time position
following completion of the program. Several students have obtained a position
that way.
