Since The London School of Economics (LSE) is an international school,
they make the admissions process rather easy. Basically one is required
to complete an application with an essay stating the reason for
attending graduate school and LSE. In addition, two letters of
recommendation and a copy of your undergraduate transcript are
required. This is mailed to LSE and an acceptance/rejection letter is
returned to the applicant within a specified timeframe. The turn-around
time for me was about 1.5 months. For me, especially as an older
student (36 at application time), there is no requirement for taking an
entrance exam.
