| Full-time MPA - Masters in Public Administration |
Program is small - 60 to 70 in each class for the Masters program (also
a few Ph.D students), so admission is tough - 10% of applicants? No
interview necessary. Essays important as a differentiator. Std. Ivy
selectivity - so full package of high GPA, GRE scores, extra-curriculars
all help. Since it is primarily a IR and public policy school, however,
good work experience - esp. in the domestic policy/non-profit sectors,
can trump GPA/GRE issues. Lots of folks with Peace Corps, World Bank,
UN, Washington DC (US government and think-tank), or state congressional
experience.
