| Full time Graduate program |
The admission process to Medill's highly selective IMC program requires
one to take the GMAT or the GRE. In addition to that, you need to
complete a admission form and answer several quetsions and essays
indicating why you are interested in the program and how you will be
using the degree to advance your career. Apart from that, the
prospective student is required to undertake an interview either by a
member of the faculty or an alum. The IMC program does not take more
than 90-100 students in the graduating class per year and attracts
students from all over the US and the world, so it is quite competitive.
The school invites prospective students to come and sit into classes,
talk to former alums or the faculty on any questions they have regarding
the program. The school offers financial aid in the form of fed loans
and scholarships. A student may qualify for some initial grant by the
school at the time of starting the program as well.
