The school tried hard to organize events and activities, but the
resources of the larger neighborhood inevitable dwarfed those of the
school. But that was a rather happy problem, so to speak. Students were
friendly, although I wouldn't have relied on the school by any means for
my social life. Most students were too busy with work and school for
much of a social life anyway.
