I was actually invited to apply to the graduate school while I was an
undergraduate. I waited two years after getting my bachelor's degree to
continue my visual art studies. I had originally studied photography
and then moved on to film and dramatic writing. The head of the
graduate film program asked me to apply to graduate school on the basis
of my undergraduate work. So the continuation of my studies was pretty
easy.
