The admissions process is very straight forward, and interviews are not
required. The essay portion of the application is crucial, and
candidates should focus on why they wish to receive a masters in public
administration. In particular, how will the candidate use this degree
in the public sector arena, and what they can bring to the Wagner
program based on their experiences. Having had some work experience
prior to joining the program is advantageous.
