I did not seek out an internship. However, those who did seemed to have little
trouble finding them in desirable locations and with desirable companies. The
school had, and hopeuflly still has at least a national reputation among HR
professionals. Additonally, Michigan State is a premier school in terms of its
student placement center. The combination made for a large number of Fortune 100
companies interviewing/hiring on campus, as well as local firms. I had several
job offers prior to my graduation from which to choose. I think that was not
uncommon.
