man for him or herself....Job oppportunities are low...in fact only part-time
opportunities exist and those minimal full time opportunities that exist lead to
a dead end position with no growth opportunity. In fact most facilities and
clients will diminish your role to activities therapist..who has a less demanding
educational background. Career placement is on your own...networking through
associations. Your best bet...given the amount of time, effort , and study is to
just go for the doctorate...believe me the time will go fast and the benefits are
greater ( i.e. money, prestige, satisfaction, recognition, overall happiness).
