Restaurants (see above also. Pasta Mista ?? excellent authentic pizza,
Kabob Hut are some of the author??s favorites). There are several
college pubs in Towson. Charles Village Pub, Rec Room to name a few.
These are frequented primarily by Towson University students and they
have lots of cheap American lager, but not exactly high-end. Baltimore
is known for a decent club scene and there are several neighborhoods
that have lots of good bars (Canton, Fells Point, Federal Hill, some in
Mount Vernon). There is also the PowerPlant which is a very popular
area in the Inner Harbor with cookie cutter type bars and lots of neon
lights. Baltimore has a decent local music scene as well. Baltimore
has an active singles scene as well as GLBT community.
