Although I cannot write with firsthand experience in respect to career
prospects, I certainly am familiar with careers that friends from Dartmouth have
pursued. I did find that applying to grad school with a Dartmouth Master's degree
granted me access to many fine institutions. I found that the transition from
Dartmouth to grad school was much easier for me than many other students from
other universities, because the level of scholarship is so advanced at Dartmouth.
In respect to campus recruiting, there are many career fairs that take place at
Dartmouth, and students are guided through the process with the help of the
Dartmouth staff in the career office. I have had many friends who were hired from
Dartmouth at prestigious firms, and who were selected based upon their
performance at Dartmouth.
The career services office at Dartmouth aids students in choosing a career path
and there are a lot of resources at the school for going through the job
application process. Dartmouth takes care of its students, even with students who
have long graduated and are re-applying for jobs in the workforce. Basically,
Dartmouth is a school that takes care of its own, and guides students through
every step of the career process, even if the career process includes graduate
school.
