The program is very popular with overseas students from China and
India, so if you are from these countries, you may need to work hard to
stand out in the crowd. If you're from another area of the world,
emphasize how you will contribute to the diversity of the class and
bring a global perspective to class discussions. Also, you should
demonstrate a strong interest the *application* of technology to
business, public policy or nonprofit. The program is not for techno-
geeks. Some people enter the program directly from undergraduate
programs, but work experience definitely helps.
