| Full Time MS in Public Policy |
When I went, more than a decade ago, most people were gearing for a career in
the public sector. For a variety of reasons, this is no longer the case. Most
students are now looking to get into careers that interface public service with
the private or non-profit sector, e.g. government consulting.
Pittsburgh afford many internship opportunities, especially in fields such as
community economic development. Internships are not necessarily limited to that
city though. Internships are required.
Many good employers came for recruiting and the career office did a good job of
preparing students and helping to create opportunities. I believe the program
does have a strong reputation among certain employers and industry sectors.
