You should decide early on in graduate school if you want to be on the academic
track or career track. If you are looking to be a professor, notify your
advisor--he or she will be your career counselor. If you are looking to
industry, Caltech has a functional career center. There are good campus fairs
and such. Very unusual and elite companies come to Caltech to recruit our very
unusual and elite graduates.
