Culture at Bocconi
Bocconi is a synonym for economic culture. Innovative entrepreneurs,
world-class economists, leading politicians, and high government
officials regularly come to Bocconi to discuss the main issues of the
day in public debates and panels.
However, Bocconi also means culture in its wider sense, thanks to its
collaboration with some of Milano??s main cultural institutions: Teatro
alla Scala, Auditorium, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, Piccolo Teatro.
Cultural initiatives offered by Bocconi ISU
Bocconi ISU organises, in co-operation with the University, a number of
cultural activities: concerts, conferences, exhibitions, roundtables,
and events. Jazz and classical music concerts, along with theatre plays
staged by amateur companies (students or graduates of Bocconi
University), are regularly scheduled entertainment events offered to the
Bocconi community. ISU also organises art and photo exhibits.

These are courses that students can freely choose on the basis of their
personal interests.
They include courses in music, literature, information technology,

participation of students in national and international tournaments in

volleyball, rugby, skiing, and golf. The Bocconi University Students
Sports Association (ASUB) is in charge of raising and training the
various teams. ISU also organises intramural five-a-side and basketball
tournaments, in which various Bocconi student teams challenge each other
with genuine competitive spirit. All Bocconi students are eligible
members of CUS Milano, the citywide university sports association.
