I was a transfer student to Queens Collge for my undergraduate then I
went there for the Library and Information Science program. As a
transfer student it was not easy to get my credits accepted from
Stonybrook. You need a lot of time to chase down the teachers and to
basically get everything ready for entering the semester. I was lucky in
that I passed my WATs with a high grade, My math score was another
story, though I was able to enter Calculus first semester. The interview
process was relatively painless but I think the woman was slightly
distracted about the amount of people she had to interview.
My graduate entrance wasn't bad. I was able to discuss with them about
the requirements needed to enter the program. The interview was done in
a classroom with several other applicants and not one-to-one which I
expected. They were very solicitous and enthusiastic about their new
incoming students.
