Candidates to the master of engineering program in telecommunications
inUPB must have previous work experience. Experience can be ignored
depending on the student's past academinc records.
The admission process is divided in two. First, the prospect must submit
detailed information regarding previous academic records (bachelors
grades), and fill the required forms (on duplicate) which include two
references from alumni of the institution. The initial process takes up
to two weeks.
As of today, there is no need for an essay in the admission process.
The second stage of the process is an interview with a representative of
the program. On this interview subjects such as the student's interest
on the program, feasibility of application of earned knowledge on
his/her work, and impact of the program on current country situation are
discussed.
