| Full time undergraduate program and MA programs in developmental economics and art history |
Extremely competitive and selective. Standard, shared application with
at least the additional requirement of submitting a peer reference
(considered by the admissions office to be highly important and very
reliable). While the average SAT scores are quite high, a candidate
would probably be in a better position to have a high grade point
average from a credible secondary school and a slightly lower SAT score,
rather than very high SAT scores with a soft GPA and few extracurricular
activities. Similarly, the admissions office seems to reward those that
have real depth in one or more extracurricular pursuit (e.g., a musician
or outstanding squash player).
Tours are conducted but are very popular so you need to schedule early
in the fall. A meeting with a local alumnus/a, who will be asked to
report back to the admissions office, is also highly advised.
