Incredible, Bellingham has everything to offer, from the sea to the
mountains. One can sail in the bay, golf and drive to the mountains
and ski all in the same day. They even have an event called ski to sea
in the spring time where teams compete by racing on skis, bike, running
and finally sailing to the finish line. Good local area restaurants
and pubs, and Canada and Vancouver, BC are less than an hour north.
The campus in built on a hill overlooking the bay, and the weather is
nicer, though more volatile than Seattle's. Crime and safety never
seemed to be a care, housing was nice and clean and dining was decent
on campus and excellent at many local restaurants. It was an idyllic
setting, perfect for college life.
