The school is very social, and has its own pub, Molly's, plus a cool
cafe, The Hoop, in addition to a large, multi-level ski lodge-like
student center. There are mixers throughout the year which men from
Boston schools attend in droves (think Boston University, MIT, and
Harvard). The downside is that having male friends is tough, because
Wellesley students typically meet them at parties not in classes or
clubs. There are some student societies which practice (without the
knowledge and consent of the administration) sorority-style rushing, but
no sororities per se. Student clubs are pretty full and great ways to
meet people, particularly the political organizations and the student
government.
