Being that Washburn is in Topeka you have several Topeka companies for
recruiting options, but in specialized fields you'll probably want to relocate.
Washburn offers a nursing program with quite a few options for job prospects
after graduation. There is a law school with many options for internships.
Topeka is the headquarters for Payless ShoeSource, although they only recruit you
with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and are pretty fussy. There are lots of options for
careers with the state of Kansas.
