There are not many bars in the area but Philadelphia is 15 minutes away
and always an option. But the bars in the area are always fun - playing
great music and great drink specials. There are many restaurants in the
area, and are a good source of employment opportunities for students who
need to work.
Villanova has several "late nights" which can be comedy nights, dance
nights, etc. where students don't have to leave campus to have fun - but
these aren't that great because alcohol is not served.
The Greek system is okay - a lot more sororities than fraternities.
Although there are many underground fraternities that exist. I was in a
sorority and loved it. Great way to meet people and go to fun social
events. The Greek system rules in terms of social life. Athletes have
their own social life apart from the Greek system, but I'm not that
familiar with it. The school is small so be prepared to know everyone
when you go to a party or bar.
