I went to Villanova over 3 years ago and I know that there have been new
housing units built recently. When I was at the school the West Campus
Apartments were new and very nice although they were restricted to
juniors. I lived on main campus my sophomore year and although the room
was really small, my dorm was close to classrooms, dining halls, friends
and transportation. Freshman year I lived on south campus which has the
best dining facility. I was placed in a triple due to overcrowding which
wasn't too fun. Overall, many of the dorms are old and bland but the
new dorms which have been built on west campus are great.
The Villanova Dining Services is great as far as college food goes. Many
of the students at Villanova are very appearance conscious and so there
are many healthy and low-fat options available. Usually the dining hall
serves an array of food from soup to salad, home-cooking to vegetarian.
The school has been doing a lot on the past few years to improve the
classrooms on campus. Bartly Hall has recently received a new make-over
and the other buildings are pretty well kept up.
The campus in general is beautiful and it is something that should be
fully appreciated if you go there!
