Villanova has a good name among employers but I did not use the school's career
services. Most of my friends didn't. The career services office seemed to care
only about business majors and liberal arts majors were left floundering. The
best thing I did was seek the guidance of one of my professors. He helped me
with my resume, provided excellent career guidance and answered any questions
that I had. Other than that I used sites like Monster and Vault as well as head
hunters and eventually accepted a really good job offer a few months after
graduation (my employer was very impressed that I went to Villanova and one of
the Vice Presidents in the company was an alumni!).
