The social life is FANTASTIC at 'SC. There is no end to fun things you
can do around L.A., as well as with your new friends at school. The
Greek system is very strong and maybe 1 in 5 students become affiliated
with a house. There is a definite pecking order within the Greek system
and, as with any school with Greek activity, there is a competitive
ambience among the Greek students. I would recommend joining one as
your potential for fun is generally higher than if you don't join a
house at USC. A must is a visit (or two or three...) to the 901 Club on
Figueroa and 28th St. On the opposite corner is a fabulous Mexican food
place called "Chanos". Tons of nightlife around here. The football
games are a blast and almost everyone goes to at least a few each
season. USC provides for a very fun college experience!
