Campus dinning was revamped this year, but it is still institutional food. If
you are
an epicurian your best bet is to wander out into the city and sample the
plethera
of eataries. San Francisco has an international reputation for fabulous food,
available in all price ranges. There are anumber of clubs and extracaricular
activities all of which are eager for new students, but the burden is on you to
find
an activity tht sparks your interest. The housing is adequent, there aren't many
opptions for lower classmen, but upperclassmen have acess to the new Layolla
Village apartments. There are also a number of rental properties around campus,
but it is best to split rent between several dependable people (studios and 1br
apartments are fairly expensive)
USF also has good recriational fcilities with a newely reserfaced playing field
and
olympic size swimming pool. It is also near Golden Gate park, perfect for
biking,
bladding, and running
