I never visited the school before I was admitted. Apparently, the school is selective, but most of my friends were students that weren't good enough for the Ivy Leagues. I came from a small high school, graduated in the top 10%. I was very active in extra curricular activities. I think that my grades and activities offset my SAT scores, which were comparatively low - (1150). Many of my friends got in because they had very high SAT scores, but bad high school averages (C-).
