The admissions process is not particularly tough. I applied for a full-paid scholarship through the Honors College, which requires a much more intensive application and interview process. This scholarship is incredibly selective -- currently drawing from the very top echelon of students nationwide. Potential applicants need to prove that they are unique in one or more ways, not simply that they will achieve and/or succeed. Knowledge of and interest in diverse intellectual pursuits is important to the committee.
