| Full-time undergraduate program |
University of Pheonix (UOP) caters to a "working student" - allowing an
adult to work a full-time schedule and also have the possibility of
attaining a college education. This flexibility was evident when I went
through admissions and getting student loans and such. UOP guarantees
your student loans; which made it very easy for me to begin the process
of beginning my college education after a 10 year absence from being in
school. The application process was pretty standard. It didn't seem
difficult or time consuming. The largest decision for me was what I
wanted to measure in and when I was going to start. It was a great
experience as I got to bring my personal and professional lives into my
education and inter-mingle with others who were somehow in the same
situation by working full-time and working on a higher education
fullfillment. Within UOP, with each class being 5 to 6 weeks in length,
it made it difficult to foster relationships with those that were in
your study group or even in your class. I think that part of the
wonders of UOP, at least for me, is the fact you meet and partake in
fostering relationships quickly in order to get the best education you
can get within those 5 to 6 weeks.
I cherish the time I spent within the program with UOP. My family and I
are truly excited about my experience with this program.
