In the fall of your senior year --during the OCRS process, you really get to see
the rewards of four years at Penn. That said, if you are a College student like I
was and interested in a position in finance, make sure you have your answer ready
to the "Why not Wharton?" question. It is bound to come up at every interview. To
me, Wharton is a lot of math and calculators. If you like to think --- don't go
to Wharton. The College will provide you with far superior intellectual and
communicative training -- skills that will have you better equipped for future
success than understanding the mechanics of an LBO model. Oh, in case you were
wondering...I am employed in finance.
