I was very involved in the campus recruiting process during my senior year, and I was extremely impressed with the knowledge of the career center counselors. I had no internships to put on my resume, and very specific coursework, and I had no problem getting a job in a very poor job market. I attribute a large part of that to Penn. I'm sure that my resume was reviewed at some companies simply because of the University that I attended. Recruiters who come to Penn generally know that they are getting ambitious, overly competitive, A-type workers who are willing to put all they have into being at the top.
