Penn cares a lot about how much you wanted to attend Penn versus
Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc. so be very detailed in your essay on why
you would be a good fit for Penn and do research. If you know you want
to go to Penn, apply early. Approx. 50% of the incoming class or more
are people who are admitted early and the other 50% are pretty much
people Penn thinks will eventually enroll. Interviews probably aren't
important. For Wharton, have a high SAT math score. If you're applying
to a special dual degree program, have very specific and sincere reasons
for applying to that program.
