Even though it's been a long time, I still miss my experience there. The school
is large enough where you don't know
everyon'e business but small enough to make a lot of friends. It supports a
very thriving Greek community but also offers
many activities to non-Greek students. UND offers one of the best Division I
hockey programs in the country as well as a
strong winning tradtion in the Division II sports of men's/women's basketball,
football and swimming. They have a lot of
unique locally owned bars and restaurants as well as most major chains if that's
more your style. Many of my what will be
lifelong friends and even a collegue are people I met during my college years.
It was a great experience overall and I
would highly recommend UND for anyone who wants a more intimate, student
friendly environment. Many of my other
colleagues are from bigger, more respected schools both public and private.
None of them have the loyalty and stories that
rival mine. Also, they feel they didn't get near the attention and level of
education that UND provides.
