The only problem with University of Montreal is that the campus is a bit
far from Montreal downtown. (15 minutes)
However, the view is amazing, just behind the Mont Royal. The campus is
pretty big, I can't really tell an accurate size but you can easily get
lost. Housing on-campus is very limited....but pretty cheap (400$/month)
Off-campus housing is the most convenient!! You can get a roommate or
get your own apartment for pretty cheap. Though, the public
transportation network is well designed and it's working out great! It's
easy to get to any place in Montreal. The University has a big sport
complex (free for full-time students) which offers a pool, sauna,
jacuzzi, tennis, golf...gym..etc.. It is possible to register for
lessons (Tae KWon do..etc.).
The neighborhood is pretty safe. You can certainly hang out at night
very late without being worried about your safety or else.
