The social life at the University is great. The school is huge, but
students quickly meet people by being active on campus. It is hard to
walk the campus without being stopped to talk to people you know. There
are a couple "undergrad" bars that everyone always goes to. Students
generally hit the bars quite a few times every week. Football games in
the Fall are amazing and bring everyone together. Dating doesn't happen
at Michigan, hooking up does. The Greek system is very strong. Almost
everyone who was a part of the Greek system at Michigan was extremely
happy with their experience. Both the Greek system and other clubs on
campus offer a way to make the big campus smaller (not that it needs to
be any smaller). Party hard, play hard is the Wolverine way.
