The school has an active Greek system. I did not participate, but I have
some friends that did and enjoyed it. Ann Arbor is a city of about
120,000, so it has its share of bars, clubs, and restaurants. Michigan
students drink a great deal of coffee, so there are plenty of great
coffee shops. There are also lots of wonderful restaurants to choose
from. If you like Japanese food, be sure to go to Miki's! The Nectarine
is a popular dance club that has an array of them nights ranging from
Disco to Gay night. Ann Arbor really is a small city with all of the
ammenities of a large one, and it is just a 3-4 hour drive to the
Metropolises of Chicago and Toronto. Don't forget to bring your passport
or birth certificate when crossing into Canada. Oh, and the legal
drinking age there is 19, not to put any ideas into your head : )
