| Full-time undergraduate program |
Michigan is without a doubt highly regarded by employers. Thanks to Michigan's
excellent reputation in the workforce due to the success of alumni, I gained an
internship at J.P. Morgan, which is just one of several major Wall Street firms
that recruit at Michigan. Top employers from every field come to Michigan to
recruit annually and the career planning and placement resources are excellent.
Michigan students can expect to see the same top employers that recruit at the
Ivy League schools and if extended an offer, they can expect to receive
compensation packages similar or identical to those of Ivy League graduates.
During my internship at J.P. Morgan, I became good friends with other interns
from M.I.T., Brown, and Cornell, just to give you a feel for the prestige that
Michigan has in the workforce. Keep in mind that Michigan has some of the very
best undergraduate programs in the country, including business and engineering.
