Admissions to U of M is pretty simple. They care about your high
school GPA and SAT/ACT scores. When I was applying there was one
optional essay meant for your academic advisor. There was also no
interview. I did not find any of this surprising since there are over
30,000 undergraduate students. Getting in is pretty easy if you have
very good SAT scores, meaning higher than 1300 and in the top 10% of
your class. Being from Michigan would greatly increase your chances as
well as having a direct relative attending.
