Social life is out of control. Crazy frat parties, great bars, a
million people to date, every niche you could imagine to find yourself
in and more. The Greek system is stereotyped and intimidating, but
where is it not? It's close to Coconut Grove and South Beach for clubs
and bars galore, not to mention frat row. You can find whatever you
want to do, somewhere, and close by. The Tavern, a particularly
cramped, old bar in the Grove, is just that, but it's a great place to
meet frat guys and sorority girls, and just your average beer drinker.
Great 80s music, hard rock, sports on the TV. Go to Fat Tuesdays for
daquiris, Hooters, the Cheesecake Factory, Moes for beer, the beach if
you want to spend more money. Thursday nights in the grove is really
where it's at.
