The quality of life in Lawrence is outstanding. Lawrence is one of the
cleanest cities that I've been do, and really strives to provide ample
recreational areas around town. Crime is not a problem here, but crimes
do happen occassionaly. KU recently finished constructing a new rec
center, complete with two racquetball courts. The school is updating
the dorms one by one, and there are plenty of apartments all around
Lawrence. Dining in Lawrence is wonderful as well, but if you want to
opt for a fancier place, Kansas City is only 45 minutes away.
