The University of Delaware has been plagued with housing issues.
Freshman often end up in triples and quads. upper classman tend to live
in a rental house or apartment.
The campus is laid out well with all buildings with in walking distance
and buildings grouped by school, so your classes are never far away from
each other.
The dining halls are average with a good selection of healthy options
and a wide variety fo food.
Safety is of prime concern in Newark. The area is typically flooded
with teenagers from the surrounding communities on weekend nights who
are not particularly fond of college students. The University has blue
light phones on almost every block which can be used in the event of an
emergency or to summon an escort home late at night.
